Well, to tell you the truth, this recipe is actually Chicken Adha Pyaaja, because if you go ahead to make a Chicken Do Pyaaja out of it, your macros and your keto diet are ruined… and nobody wants that! So without much chitter-chatter, let’s get on to this easy-peasy Mughlai recipe, in our very own Ket avatar:
150 g – Chicken
25 g Butter/Ghee
1 small onion, sliced
1 small tomato, chopped
30-45 g (roughly 2 tablespoons) curd
Chicken Masala, deggi mirch, salt – as per taste
1 tablespoon kasuri methi. You may use fresh methi if available
1 teaspoon Ginger-gralic paste
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1 tablespoon dhania powder
P.S. I have used the chicken, butter, onion nd tomato as per my diet macros, use them in yours as per your diet instructions.
Procedure for Keto Chicken do Pyaaja:
Cut the chicken in small bite-size pieces. Add curd and masalas and let sit for at least 10 minutes. This marination will help the chicken get moist, so that when you are cooking it, it is done sooner and remains moist.

Heat the butter/ghee in a wok. Then add the slices of onion, ginger and garlic paste to the fat. Now saute all of this on medium flame, until they turn golden brown. Then add the chicken and curd marinade., tomatoes and stir fry till the chicken is done. Don’t forget to click a picture and share it with me in the comments below!
After a minute or so, add tomatoes and stir fry till the chicken is done. Remember, the more you saute it after it is done, the harder it would become. So take a spoon and cut the chicken piece. If it feels like it is done, take it off the flame immediately if you want to prevent it from becoming chewy rubber.Don’t forget to click a picture and share it with me in the comments below!
